Swim Accomplishments
Junior Year: Dylan improved his swim times in all of his wide array of events. At the SCAC Conference meet, he earned 3 medals, all for his individual events. As a leader, he ensured a positive attitude on deck and a committment to hard work.
Sophomore Year: Dylan improved in all of his events his sophomore year and was also named the swimmer with the best attitude. He placed 7th in the 200 back and went a 1:58.60, 10th in the 200 IM with a time of 1:59.23, 8th in the 400 IM with a time of 4:18.33 and split a 1:46.43 in the 800 free relay at SCAC championships.
Freshman Year: As a freshman, Dylan set personal records in the 200 IM, 1650, 400 IM, and 200 free. He placed 13th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:01.30, 11th in the mile with a time of 17:19.44 and split a 1:49.48 in the 800 free relay in the SCAC swimming championships meet.
Prep: Dylan was a varsity swimmer for all four years of high school. His junior year at Neuqua Valley he swam a 2:02.49 in the 200 IM and a 56.43 in the 100 back and the team placed third at the Illinois state meet. He was a captain his senior year before he transfered to Revere High School in Bath, Ohio. He finished his high school career by competing in the Ohio state sectionals meet.
Outside the Pool:
Dylan is an Officer Candidate for the United States Marine Corps. He is also actively involved with his fraternity as new member educator. Furthermore, he is a first-year mentor for DePauw University. Dylan is an age group coach volunteer at Greencastle High School.
Personal:
Son of David and Karla Klossner, born December 17th, 1989. He has an older and younger sister and plans on pursuing a career in law.
