Swim Accomplishments

As a freshman, Nathan competed in the DePauw invitational and SCAC conference meets dropping a substantial amount of time in each of his events at each meet.

Prep: Nathan joined the Tigers from The Columbus Academy where he lettered two years for Craig Yakscoe. He was named "most improved swimmer" his junior year, and received the "Viking Award" his senior year. He was the Mid State League Champion in the 50 freestyle. He was a part of the Academy State Team in 2009, where his 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays placed 7th and 11th, respectively at the Ohio State Meet. His senior year his coaches and teammates nominated him as captain. He chose DePauw over Kenyon and Denison.

Outside the Pool:

Nathan is an active member of the DePauw society. As a first year mentor, Nathan plays an integral part in the “First Year Experience” at Depauw University. He is currently the treasurer of Student Arts Council, a student coordinator of ArtsFest! the Public Relations Officer for DePauw Environmental Club, an active member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, and a Management Fellow.
